Large Victorian Gilt Mirror
A large mid Victorian timber plaster gilt framed mirror with original gilt and japanned finish c.1870. The substantial frame with decorative plaster work stylised leaf design decoration, the outer edge and central border with black japanned finish plus original gilt finish to the beaded design outer and inner boarders. Original quarter plate mirror glass in excellent condition, original boarded back. Can be displayed in landscape as shown or portrait positions. Measures 44" wide x 25" high x 2" deep.
