An immaculate large Victorian brass cased skeletonised marine barometer with engraved silvered scale and twin crescent thermometers c.1885. The broad dished brass case with hanging loop to the top and matching brass bezel with glazed view window; reading marker knob to the centre. Skeletonised android movement visible to the centre of the case with engraved silvered scale set around the outer edge. Twin crescent thermometers one alcohol action reading Centigrade and the other mercury action reading Fahernheit. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, full...y serviced and working. Measures 7" diameter x 8" high including hanging loop x 2.25" deep. Stock number 40009.
