Large Victorian Oak and Silver Plate Cow Horn Dinner Gong
A large Victorian oak dinner gong with cow horn supports and silver plated fittings c.1900. Square oak plinth to the base forming the foot with turned and moulded section above; silver plated shield to the front for engraving the owners initials. Two Highland cattle horns set to each side with silver plated mounts and tips, the suspended silver plated gong set to the centre. Original turned oak striking hammer sat on the base in silver plated supports and matching plated bound corners. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 8" wi...de x 8" deep at the foot x 14.25" maximum width x 18.75" high. Stock number 42876.
