Large Victorian Silver Cologne Bottle With Glass Liner
A large superb quality Victorian embossed silver cologne bottle with internal glass liner and stopper in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1891. The circular solid silver bottle with embossed floral scrole design decoration to the heavy quality casing which is formed over an internal glass vessel. The bottle curving in at the top to form a collar with hinged domed snap top lid sat to the top which has matching decoration. The hinged lid opening to reveal a clean interior with velvet lined lid and large ground glass stopper which can be used for dabbing the cologne. Bears the makers mark... for Birmingham silversmith Arthur William Pennington along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unused condition.
