Late Victorian Art Nouveau Inlaid Column Oil Lamp
A superb quality late Victorian oil lamp with Art Nouveau inlaid mahogany column and original green acid etched shade c.1890. Broad brass foot with weight to the underside for stability; the brass base rising to meet the square mahogany column, which is inlaid with fruitwood in the Art Nouveau style to all four sides. Faceted cut crystal reservoir sat above with quality bayonet fit Hinks burner and gallery sat to the centre. The original green tinted acid etched shade decorated in a complementing style with frilled edge to the top and period glass funnel to the centre. Presented in immacula...te original condition with a perfect reservoir and shade. Diameter quoted is at the shade.
