Late Victorian Boat and Oars Butlers Drinks Tray & Stand
An unusual and fine quality late Victorian brass trimmed rowing boat shaped butlers drinks tray and folding stand in the form of a pair of oars c.1900. The oval rowing boat shaped drinks serving sized tray with raised gallery to the edge, small brass handles to each end in the form of anchors. The matching folding stand formed in the style of four oars, each with flat paddle to the end which is tipped with brass and turned uprights with brass mounts at the joints and the caps to the ends. Two brass pegs to the top rail which sit through the tray securing it in place. Superbly made and detai...led throughout; an unusual and possibly unique item presented in immaculate condition. Measurements quoted are for the tray and stands extremities when assembled.
