A late Victorian ebony bracket clock with 8 day ting-tang striking to the quarters and gilded brass and silvered dial c.1890. The solid ebony case with cushion top and wide moulded cornice below. Glazed hinged door to the face and broad moulded plinth to the base with gilt brass claw feet below. Gilt brass decoration to the case with matching finials to the top. Gilt brass and silvered dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands, complementing gilt brass spandrels to the corners of the dial.
