A late Victorian gilt brass cased London pocket barometer in original presentation case c.1900. Made by J. H. Steward of London (w.1857-1900). Silvered engraved dial with altimeter to the surround, and original gilding to the brass case. Set behind a convex glass with bevelled edge and bears the maker's name to the dial. The barometer is presented in the original leather cloth case. Full working order. Presented in excellent condition. Case measures 2.75" square, Barometer measures 2.25" diameter x 1" deep x 3" high including ring to top. Stock no. 36831.
