Description

A late Victorian mahogany Sheraton inlaid barometer c.1900. Convex porcelain dial bearing the maker's name, A & J Penniston of Sunderland. Brass bezel surround with convex glass and centre reading marker pointer. Satinwood inlay to the centre of the arched top case. fruitwood stringing to the surround. Moulded edge base, standing on brass bun feet. Suitable for either desk top or a mantelpiece. Full working order. Superb colour and patina. Measures 5.75" wide x 3" deep x 9.5" high.
