Matching Pair of Globe Wernicke Bookcases
A matching pair of Edwardian oak Globe Wernicke sectional bookcases with drawers to the base and leaded glass doors c.1910. Each bookcase with four graduated sections sat over an ogee moulded single drawer base. Moulded front cornice to the top, up and over doors with individual leaded glazed view windows. The base drawer with original brass handles and side lock. Excellent quality with original polish and patinated green painted interiors, makers label to each section. Presented in excellent condition with a good patina, rare to find a matching pair. Each measures 34" wide x 58" high x 12" ...deep. Internally each section is 9" deep and run from 9" high to 13" high. Stock number 37558.
