A matching pair of Edwardian period solid silver propelling pencils by collected maker Sampson Morden in the original presentation case c.1910. Black leather covered case opening to reveal a velvet and silk lined interior, the retailers name Mappin Brothers to the interior of the lid. The velvet base holding two solid silver pencils each of matching design with spiral column and reeded spherical top. Each marked with the makers name and marked sterling. Superb quality and presented in immaculate condition. Longest pencil measures 5.5" long x 0.25" diameter and shorter pencil measures 3.75" ...long x 0.25" diameter. Stock number 37378.
