A matching pair of Victorian cast brass ink wells with pen trays to all four sides c.1880. Each matching ink stand cast in solid brass with four dished trays to each side, all with decorative castings. Matching decorative casting to the central ink well, which has a hinged lid to access the internal glass ink well. Serpents head design feet set to the four corners of the central ink well. Superb quality and both presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Each measures 5.5" wide x 5.5" deep x 3.25" high. Stock number 42973.
