A Mid Georgian oak cased 'Cottage' longcase clock.c.1750. Brass and silvered dial with a penny moon to the engraved centre. Made by Richard Midgley of Halifax. Strikes on a bell to the hour. Turned pillars to the moulded cornice hood. Shaped door to the slim proportioned case. Full working order. Stands 77.5"high. * Richard Midgley of Halifax working 1700-63.
