A mid Victorian polished oak 8 Day barograph by renowned instrument maker, Dolland of London* c.1870. The solid oak casing with thick bevelled edge glasses in perfect condition. Lift off glazed top to access and protect the gilded movement. 8 Day chart drum with platform escapement and remote pressure adjustment. Original gilded finish to the movement, with the maker's name stamped to the top; glass ink bottle to the side. Moulded waist with chart drawer below, complete with double section of spare charts. Fully serviced in working order. Measures 14.5" wide x 8.5" deep ...x 9" high. Stock number CB1269.
