Mid Victorian Mahogany Open Bookcase
A quality mid Victorian three section mahogany open bookcase with decorative corbels and adjustable shelves c.1870. Figured mahogany veneer top sat over a three section base with decorative corbels to the top of each mahogany veneered division. Large section to the centre flanked by small sections to either side, each section with two adjustable shelves and mahogany veneered edge. The bookcase with an apron foot, matching figured veneers to the sides and original painted wash to the shelves and back boards. Excellent quality and presented in imm...aculate condition with a rich colour and polish. Measures 57" long x 13" deep x 38" high. Stock number 42171.
