A superior quality mid Victorian figured mahogany partners desk with original turned knobs; superb colour and polish c.1875. The top with a moulded edge and mahogany band surrounding the quality tooled dark green old leather writing surface. Three drawers sat directly below the writing surface plus each pedestal with three graduated drawers. All drawers with mahogany linings, original turned knobs and deep moulded edges giving a panelled effect. Figured polished timbers to the desk sides and the rear of the desk with false drawers on each pedestal forming shallow cupboards, which allows f...ree standing and storage from both sides. Apron foot with moulded upper edge and small concealed castors set behind to aid moving. Presented in excellent condition with a rich colour and deep shine.
