A mid Victorian brass cased marine aneroid barometer c.1865, with the dial bearing the maker's name W. Heath of 24 George Street, Plymouth (w.1845-65). Polished brass casing and a decorative edge to the surround. The dial is sat behind a bevelled edge glass, mounted in a polished brass bezel with a centre reading marker. Matching polished brass hanging loop to the top; can be displayed on a wall or desk top with a hanging loop to the top and brass standing plate to the base. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the case and in full working order. Measures 5" diameter x 2" dee...p. Stock number 38387.
