Moorcroft Anemone Salt Glazed Vase
A Moorcroft anemone design vase with rare salt glazed finish, signed William Moorcroft c.1928. The vase has a wide shoulder plus slightly flared wide rim to the top and is decorated with a continuous band of tube lined anemones set against foliage. The background of the vase with a deep Royal blue at the base fading to white at the rim. The anemone flowers painted in vibrant pinks and lilacs sat under a satin finish salt glaze. Signed William Moorcroft to the base along with factory impressions indicating a date of manufacture circa 1928. Presented in perfect unrestored condition.
