Moorcroft Clematis Flambe Vase
A Moorcroft clemati design baluster shape vase with flambe glaze, signed Walter Moorcroft c.1940's. Superbly potted with tall broad neck; the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined clematis flowers and leaves. Decorated in summer tones with deep purple blue and red flowers, the leaves in tones of yellow and green. The flambe glaze lightly applied at the top fading to a deep tone at the base of the vase. Signed Walter Moorcroft to the base along Moorcroft factory impressions to the base indicating a date of manufacture c.1940's Presented in immaculate perfect unresto...red condition.
