An immaculate Moorcroft freesia pattern flambe glazed bottle vase c.1940's. The vase with bulbous base and narrow flared neck; the base of the vase decorated with a continuous band of tube lined freesias in bud and fully opened, which are set against foliage. The flowers painted in rich reds, yellows and purples with green leaves, overglazed with a rich terracotta red flambe glaze. Moorcroft factory impressions to the base and presented in immaculate perfect condition. Measures 3.5" maximum diameter x 5" high. Stock number CB1340.
