Moorcroft Leaf and Berries Flambe Vase
An immaculate Moorcroft leaf & berries flambe glazed vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1930. Squat form with broad shoulders and rolled over rim. Superbly decorated with a continuous band of tube lined autumn leaves and berries, the background washed in soft terracotta tones fading to a rich blue at the base. The leaves painted in autumn reds and yellows and soft greens with purple berries set in between; all over glazed in a light flambe glaze. Moorcroft factory impression to the base indicating a date of manufacture c.1930. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no scrat...ches or chips.
