Moorcroft Flambe Glazed Slipper Orchid Jug
An immaculate Moorcroft 'Slipper Orchid' flambe glazed jug signed Walter Moorcroft to the base c.1940's. Bulbous form with handle set to one side and small spout to the other. The exterior of the jug decorated with a continuous band of tube lined slipper orchids painted in soft pinks, reds and purples with dark green stems. Rich dark red flame glaze fading to brown tones at the rim with tones of purple and blue showing through. Signed Walter Moorcroft to the base along with Moorcroft factory impressions. Presented in immaculate perfect condition with no scratches or chips
