Moorcroft Spanish Squat Vase
A superb early Moorcroft Spanish pattern squat vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1915. The squat bulbous vase with slightly flared rim and wide neck. The outside of the vase decorated with a continuous bands of tube lined Chrysanthemum flowers, leaves and stems. Ochre ground with a light blue and green wash in places, the flowers painted in soft reds and golden shades, all superbly painted with no runs. Signed William Moorcroft to the base along with Moorcroft Burslem factory impressions indicating a year of manufacture c.1915. Presented in excellent condition.
