A superb early Moorcroft Spanish pattern vase signed William Moorcroft c.1914. Flared rim running to a narrow neck sat over a tall bulbous base, which is slightly flared at the foot. The outside of the vase decorated with two continuous bands of tube lined Chrysanthemums flowers, leaves and stems; one band below the rim and the other to the centre of the vase. Blue washed ochre ground with the flowers painted in soft reds and golden shade, all superbly painted with no runs. Signed William Moorcroft to the base green along with early Moorcroft, Burslem, England factory impression. Presented ...in excellent condition.
