Moorcroft Wisteria Table Jar and Cover

An unusual Moorcroft wisteria squat spherical table jar and cover, signed William Moorcroft c.1920. Squat spherical form with inset circular lid to the top, small handle to the centre. The sides and matching lid decorated with a continuous band of tube lined wisteria flowers and buds. The background painted in a soft teal blue, the flowers painted in soft reds, yellows and purples. The base signed W. Moorcroft and impressed with Moorcroft factory impressions. Presented in perfect unrestored condition. Measures 5.5" diameter x 4" high. Stock number 38909.
