A very collectable Negretti & Zambra desk top weather forecaster with matching pocket size forecaster in the original wallet C.1920. The solid brass face with engraved numerals and instructions, the outer dial adjusting for the seasons and the secondary dial for the atmospheric pressure allowing the weather predictions to be read through a window at the base. Original lacquered finish and black waxed engraving. Sturdy brass easel stand to the rear for desk standing and hanging loop to the top for wall hanging. Matching original pocket size bone forecaster included and original printed instruct...ions for use. Sat in the original brown oil cloth wallet. Presented in excellent condition and full working order. Measures 4.75" diameter x 0.25" deep. Stock number 36481.
