A superb original oil on canvas by highly regarded French artist Marcel Dyf (1899-1985) c.1950's. This work typical of the artist depicting a large vase of mixed flowers with strikingly bright reds and soft pinks standing out against a soft green background and brighter green foreground. Good impasto bringing the flowers to life on the canvas. Titled ' Bouquet de Roses' and signed by the artist to the bottom right. Presented in the original lime washed over plaster gilt frame, probably retailed through the artists London agent Frost & Reed. Presented in perfect condition with no damage or rest...oration. Measures including frame 29" high x 26" wide. Stock number CS33.
