An outstanding acrylic on board by Yorkshire born artist Donald McIntyre 1923- 2009 'Low tide at Dolan'. Superbly painted acrylic on board in typical McIntyre style depicting the low tide at Dolan, County Gallway. Cottages on a rocky mount set above a sandy shore with boats moored in the sand. Superb earthy colours with a deep blue see and mauve sky of a late summers evening depicting a calm scene. The painting with superb depth and impasto bringing it to life. Signed by the artist and in superb condition, presented in a quality timber frame with soft grey and gilt finish alo...ng with museum glass. Measures 43" wide x 33.5" high including the frame.
