An Outstanding Mid Victorian burr walnut stationery box.c.1870. Unusual split fold front, opening to reveal a fold out writing slope with compartments below. Domed top opening to a sectioned letter rack, pen tray and original cut glass inkwells. Birds eye maple interior. Original brass fittings. Working lock & key. Superb condition. Measures 17" x 15"deep x 9.5"high. SN 34890.
