Outstanding Victorian Burr Walnut Pedestal Desk
A superb quality Victorian burr walnut pedestal desk with matching dummy drawers to the rear and original leather writing surface. Moulded edge to the top with burr timber inner edge surrounding the original tooled brown hide writing surface. Three drawers below the surface and three graduated drawers to each pedestal. Moulded edges to the drawers with original embossed brass knobs and back plates. Matching dummy drawers to the rear allowing free standing. Polished sides and internal knee hole opening. Excellent quality with mahogany drawer linings, no cracks or repairs. Superb colour and orig...inal patina, very sturdy and useable. Separates into three sections for ease of moving. Measures 54" wide x 28" deep x 30.5" high to the surface. Stock number 35380.
