A matching pair of original oils on canvas by highly regarded artist William Mellor 'On The Llugwy'. Each oil with superb depth and detail, flowing waters and Autumnal colours, sheep grazing in the foreground on one painting and in the distance in the other. Both signed by the artist to bottom and inscribed with the subject in the artists hand to the rear. William Mellor 1851 - 1931 born in Barnsley, Yorkshire painted extensively in Yorkshire, Wales and the Scottish highlands, his distinctive style has helped him remain a favourite amongst collectors. Each in excellent condition ...and presented in quality swept timber gilt frames. Each measures 23" wide x 17" high including the frame. Stock number CS184.
