Pair of Doulton Lambeth Ware Vases
A stylish matching of Doulton Lambeth ware vases with Royal blue ground and loop handles to the sides, by Doulton artist Frank A Butler c.1885. Each vase with bulbous base, narrow neck and flared rim. The sides of the vases decorated with a stylised leaf pattern which flows from the loop handles sat to each side. The backgrounds in deep Royal blue with the decoration in tones of green, which flows into a brown salt glaze on the loop handles, which is repeated on the inside of the rim. The vases paired left and right, both with the initials for Doulton Lambeth ware artist Frank A Butler, alo...ng with factory impression. Both presented in immaculate perfect unrestored condition.
