A matching pair of fine quality Victorian antelope horn handled toasting forks with solid silver caps to the ends and fork heads depicting an antelope head c.1870. Both horn handles have a superb colour and polish; both with solid silver end caps engraved with the owners initials and crest. The toasting fork heads includes antelope heads, which form the mounts for the long prongs, which are fashioned as antelope horns. A rare matching pair, the ends tested as silver and both presented in immaculate condition. Each measures 23" long x 1.5" diameter at the end cap x ...1.75" wide at the fork prongs.
