A superb George II period oak joint stool in original unaltered condition with a wonderful mellow colour and patina c.1730. Single piece top with moulded edge to all four sides, sat over a moulded and carved top rail below. Four baluster shaped turned legs set to the corners with supporting base stretchers. Pegged joints throughout along with superb original colour and rich patina, very sturdy and usable.
