An unusual period oak side or serving table with turned baluster shaped legs and superb carved arched apron c.1690. Planked half round top sat over a triangular base. Carved arched top rails with scalloped edge forming a deep apron. Baluster shaped legs supporting base strechers, with the owners initials stamped to the top of one leg. Pegged top and joints, superb colour and rich patination throughout; origins probably South Wales. Measures 42" maximum width x 20.5" deep x 31" high. Stock number CS403.
