A George I period two panel coffer with carved decoration and wonderful original colour and patina c.1720. Two panel construction with stop moulded frame and dowelled joints. The matching two panel lid with original hook and eye hinges. Carved top rail to the front with complementing diamond carved panels below, plain panels to the side and back. Sat on the original full length stiles, presented in superb original condition with a clean interior and original colour and patina. Measures 37.5" long x 19.5" deep x 23.5" high. Stock number 38993.
