An immaculate Persian pure wool runner with repeated medallion decoration set against a rich navy blue background c.1920. Hand knotted pure wool pile with a rich navy blue background and decorated with a striking geometric medallion design, which is repeated along the centre of the runner with matching half medallions to the sides. The medallions in tones of red, salmon pink an fawn. Narrow geometric border to the edge with matching colours. Presented in immaculate unworn, stain free condition and newly cleaned ready for use.
