Persian Hearth Sized Rug
A Persian pure wool hearth sized rug in superb unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920's. The hand knotted close pile rug with red stars shaped medallion to the centre which is surrounded by an interlocking floral design in tones of fawn, champagne cream and pink which are outlined in blue. Red and navy blue infills to the corners and a complementing matching triple border to the outer edge. Presented in unworn, stain free, newly cleaned condition.
