 A top quality Persian hand knotted pure wool Mashad rug from North Eastern Persia in superb unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920. The close hand knotted pile with champagne background, the centre section with interlocking flower and diamond decoration in tones of copper, navy and teal blue. Broad border to the outer edge in matching tones framing the centre section.
