A top quality Persian pure wool hand knotted Heriz runner from North West Persia in superb unworn newly cleaned condition c.1900. The hand knotted close deep pile runner with a soft red background, navy blue floral medallion to the centre. The background of the runner decorated with an interlocking geometric floral design in tones of cornflower blue, burgundy and fawn. Infills to the corners with champagne cream background, and a tripple panel board to the outer edge which is framed in burgundy and decorated with a geometric floral design. Presented in immaculate unworn stain free newly cle...aned condition ready for use.
