A fine quality Persian 'Kashan' pure wool 9' runner with deep hand knotted pile c.1920. Three medallions to the centre set against navy blue ground with interlinked floral decoration in soft coral reds, champagne and pinks.  Narrow triple border to the outer edge with champagne background and geometric decoration in tones to compliment the centre of the rug. Close thick hand knotted pile, and presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use
