A fine quality antique Persian pure wool rug from the Malaya area of Persia in superb unworn stain free newly cleaned condition c.1900. Champagne cream background with medallion to the centre, surrounded by an interlocking floral design in teal blues, soft reds, pinks and navy's. Narrow geometric border to the outer edge with sand coloured background and multi coloured decoration. Superb quality, hand knotted and presented in excellent unworn stain free condition, newly cleaned ready for use. Please note shadowing of colours due to lighting in main photograph.
