A quality antique Persian pure wool rug from the Isfahan area of Persia, in superb newly cleaned condition c.1920. The dense pile with red background, medallion to the centre surrounded by interlinked geometric floral decoration in dark reds, fawn and champagne tones. Complementing geometric design border to the edge, typical of the Isfahan area of Persia. Presented in excellent unworn stain free condition. Measures 6' 6" long x 3' 3" wide. Stock number 42677.
