Persian Baluch Pure Wool Rug
A rich soft red Persian pure wool Baluch rug from the Afghan boarder area of Persia in superb unworn newly cleaned condition c.1920's. The hand knotted close pile with a soft red background, the centre of the rug with three geometric medallions in tones of champagne cream dark red. Complimenting interlocking geometric decoration ro the background with broad tripple boarder to the outer edge. Superb quality, typically handmade with slightly uneven edges, and presented in excellent newly cleaned unworn condition ready for use.
