A top quality Persian 9 foot pure wool hand knotted Heriz runner from North West Persia in superb unworn newly cleaned condition c.1900. The hand knotted close deep pile runner with a soft red background and champagne cream floral medallion to the centre. The runner decorated with an interlocking geometric floral design in tones of aubergine, cornflower blue, burgundy and fawn. Infills to the corners with champagne cream background and a panel border to the outer edge, which is framed in burgundy and decorated with a geometric floral design. Presented in immaculate unworn stain free newly c...leaned condition ready for use.
