Persian Teal Blue Pure Wool Malayer Rug
An unusual Persian teal blue ground Malayer pure wool rug from Northwest Persia in superb unworn and newly cleaned condition c.1920's. The hand knotted rug with unusual teal blue background, which is decorated with a large fawn and dark chocolate coloured medallion to the centre and surrounded by smaller complementing medallions. Broad triple border with dark brown and fawn backgrounds decorated to match the centre. Superb quality and presented in immaculate unworn and newly cleaned condition.
