A Pretty George III period oak and mahogany longcase clock.c.1790. Arched top painted dial with rocking ship automation to the top. 8 Day movement striking on a bell to the hour. Made by George Stockton of South Hartley (Blythe, Northumberland ). Sheraton fruitwood inlays to the small proportioned case. Superb colour and patina. Full working order. Measures 18.5" x 9"deep x 84"high. Stock no.31496.
