Quality Victorian Oak Rope Twist Barometer
A quality late Victorian oak cased rope twist design boarder aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement, fully serviced and working c.1890. The broad solid figured oak case with carved rope twist design to the outer edge. Skeletonised aneroid movement set to the centre surrounded by a porcelain enamel dial with central reading marker; bevelled edge glass cover sat over the top, mounted in a polished brass bezel. Measures 9" diameter overall and 5" diameter dial x 2" deep. Stock number 39314.
