A quality Victorian brass cased carriage clock with striking and repeating movement. C.1890. Columns with engine turned decoration to the corners dental mouldings to the top and base, bevelled edge glass throughout. Gilt dial mask to the enamel chapter ring with Arabic numbers. 8 day movement with cylinder escapement and gong striking to the hour and half hour, repeating button to the top of the case. Superb condition, fully serviced. Measures 4.5" wide x 6" high ( 7.75" with handle up) x 3.75" deep.
