A rare and very collectable Edwardian period solid silver pepper pot in the form of an army officer, hallmarked Birmingham 1909. Modelled in the form of an army officer dressed in a full length trench coat stood with a rifle, superb detail throughout. The hat forming the pepper shaker, push fit top for refilling. Stood on a weighted base. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded Birmingham silversmiths Deakin & Francis along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
